Evaluation
Here we are, at the project’s deadline. Looking back now, I can realise that working on this project changed my views and I surely think different than I was when the module started. Working on documentary is really exciting somehow even if I thought it might be nothing special about it. The most difficult part about documentaries is researching. I think finding a good story means 90% of the final piece. Because in documentaries editing can be so simple, the story makes all the difference. And I am sure Maria’s story is a good one, she has strong believes and she thinks very maturely about what is happening to her.
Working with Bidu was a really good experience and the good part about this project was that we were sort of on the same page. We agreed on most of the things that were done on the documentary and we struggled to find the best possible way of editing the documentary. Editing something new after every feedback session was somehow stressful but we now think that it did worth every minute spent on working for this project. After so many versions, so many cuts, so many opinions and a lot of work, here it is – the final version of our documentary – ‘It’s all about being fake!’
